This feature is unique to this fallout game, and is meant to promote individuality and provide freedom for players to express themselves and role-play their characters. The advantage of transparent image is that it can be used efficiently. There are a number of locations we don't have any real details about yet, but they're shown as locations on the in-game map in Fallout 76 footage. There’s no in-game explanation (yet) regarding what happened to these guys, but their inclusion is a nice little touch – especially the added detail of handwritten note one is carrying in their pocket. Despite containing a filter, this headpiece does not provide protection from airborne hazards.
